Nicole Haywood; Women’s C-1 500m World Champion has been selected as one of three finalists in the Senior Female Athlete of the Year category, for Sport BC’s 44^thAnnual Athlete of the Year Awards, presented by TELUS.

Sport BC’s Athlete of the Year Awards is the longest standing sports recognition event in Canada.  Over 600 people representing sport, media and corporate sponsors will attend the ceremony.  This year’s event will be held on the evening of Wednesday, March 31^st, 2010 at the River Rock Show Theatre in Richmond, BC.
