Winter 2023: January 21 until March 25 for 10 sessions.

Ages 10 to 17:  Saturday from 10-12pm

Fee: $ 150

Paddle for fun, fitness and friendships!

Youth aged 10-17yrs who are interested in keeping up their paddling skills and maintaining their friendships and fitness can come down on Saturday mornings from 10-12noon to paddle in the recreational or sprint kayaks and canoes with one of the NCKC staff members. The focus is on their positive involvement, friendships, fun, fitness and outdoor recreation. Paddlers will work together to create a rewarding experience both on and off the water with other like minded individuals.

As weather starts getting cooler, paddlers must come dressed appropriately in merino wool, polypropylene and/or polyester fleece are recommended for on water activities as a base layer. Absolutely no cotton at this time of year please and thanks! A windbreaker, running shoes, and sandals/water shoes are required as well.

If weather is not suitable for on water activities, dryland games and exercises will be done onsite.
