2024-2025 Registration and Programs
Welcome to 2024 Registration for the Nanaimo Canoe and Kayak Club!
Firstly, we are using new software (RAMP) this season for memberships and programming, so please be patient as we all navigate these new waters together! We have done our best to streamline the process, but with everything new, there are still likely to be some hiccups.
To register for NCKC membership and programs, please read this information in entirety first and then click on the link here: http://nanaimock.rampregistrations.com/participant
Once you have reached the RAMP registration page, you will be asked to create a login, password and will then be invited to create a profile for yourself and your family members. Once this is completed, the system will remember your details for future registration.
After you have completed your individual profiles, you can then select the family member that you would like to register. At this time, you will then choose the category for which this person will be participating.
The categories to choose from are as follows:
- Competitive Youth Members (U12, U14, U16, U18) – those who are participating in the Sprint Canoe- Kayak Program and training consistently for regattas.
- Competitive Adult – those who are participating in regular coached sessions for Sprint Canoe-Kayak.
- Recreational Youth (17yrs and under) – those participating in Summer Camps and paddling in
recreational timeslots during the summer months. - Recreational Adult – those who paddle during Club recreational timeslots, have youth participating in Sprint or Summer Camps, or volunteer Board of Directors.
Each of these categories is attached to a package.
For example, if you choose the Recreational Youth (17yrs and under) the current program offerings in the system are the weekly half day summer camps for July and August.
After selecting the program attached to the category, you will be asked to acknowledge the various Waivers and Releases on the system. There are also some electronic signatures required for the Code of Ethics, Photography Consent, and Assumption of Risk. The final signature is to recognize that you are the age of majority or the parent of the person being registered in the program. CLICK CONTINUE.
If it is a youth program, you will be asked to identify the first parent/guardian for emergency contacts and then asked if you wish to put in a secondary contact. SUBMIT/CONTINUE
The new screen will show you the program that you have registered for and at the bottom left of the page you will see pricing details (amount owing) and on the bottom right a space to identify the payment type that you will be using.
NOTE: This year NCKC will only be accepting e-transfers (sent to: treasurer@nckc.ca) and cheques this year (mailed to: 5947 Butcher Rd, Nanaimo, BC V9T 5M7).
Registration is not confirmed until payment has been received. Late payments will not be accepted.
