This celebration event is to showcase the diversity of paddle sports available and continue to encourage Sport for Life’s Active for Life philosophy and empower locals to stay active, volunteer, and provide leadership in recreation and sport.

June 21, 2023 National Indigenous People’s Day: 5-8pm at Swy-a-lana Lagoon, Maffeo Sutton Park – NCKC will have an interactive booth and voyageur canoe paddling station for our community to give paddling a go! Volunteers are needed to assist with the information booth, registration of participants, assisting with PFD’s, and providing leadership on the water.
